SAVVIS announces new feature enhancements to the Wam!Net service – Submission Icon and Content Submission Portal
The SAVVIS Content Submission Portal is a web-based portal that enables partners, vendors, freelancers and clients to submit digital content to a Wam!Net service, even if you are not a Wam!Net user. Using a browser and Internet access, users can easily select files and monitor progress and delivery.
The Submission Icon provides content owners and creators with a new and easy method of receiving digital content from their customers. Content such as digital images, final ad creative, content from field journalists, digital print-ready files, audio or video can be submitted via a simple desktop icon.
The Submission Icon can be distributed to members of your organisation, customers, suppliers or business partners to allow them to submit content to you by simply dragging and dropping their files onto the icon.
Changing your submission options to include authentication, user type, job ticket, upload method and delivery destination, receiving large volumes of digital content is infinitely easier. By re-configuring your workflow to ask for information or metadata, an automatic routing capability pushes content automatically to the end user, reducing the time taken to receive files and improving the end user experience.
The Submission Icon and Content Submission Portal can be customised with your organisation’s branding for increased brand identity.
